A Guide to LinkedIn’s Latest AI powered Hiring Features
LinkedIn is releasing several AI-powered features over the coming months aimed at improving efficiency for recruiters and candidates. We got to see them all in action at the recent LinkedIn partner Unite event in Dublin.
For job seekers, LinkedIn now provides personalised job insights, CV tips and curated job collections to match candidates with suitable roles faster.
For recruiters, AI-Assisted Search will help match candidates more effectively by analysing job descriptions and CVs, whilst eliminating the management of complex filters. This is complemented by AI-Assisted Messaging which enables bulk personalised communications, with a 44% higher candidate response rate.
Posting on LinkedIn, Lorcan Kavanagh, Global Head of Channel Partnerships for Linkedin Talent Solutions, said the releases will “help recruiters with time-consuming repetitive tasks (typically 20 hrs per week) – synthesising job requirements, sourcing appropriate candidates, reviewing applications. That allows recruiters to spend more time in discussion with qualified candidates making for a better and more effective experience for recruiters and job seekers.”

Interested Candidate Alerts
Keeping high-quality talent interested in your organisation is an ongoing challenge. LinkedIn’s Interested Candidate Alerts can assist you in the recruitment process by notifying ‘warm’ candidates of your latest roles. This automated function requires no management from the recruiter as in-app notifications alert interested candidates as soon as roles become available. A valuable tool to keep your organisation at the forefront of their mind.
Rediscovered Candidates digs out those quality profiles from previous projects matching your latest vacancies. It can help to kick-start a campaign with a raft of relevant and warm candidates likely to be interested.
These candidates immediately expand your talent pool and increase InMail acceptance rates, while saving you time. What’s more, Rediscovered Candidates are more likely to accept your InMails than candidates found by Recruiter search alone.
AI-Assisted Search and Projects in LinkedIn Recruiter helps you to quickly search for candidates, create projects and get recommendations. Just enter your criteria (in plain English) into the prompt box, and the generative AI tool does the rest, analysing your words and populating the search filters to match your criteria. After your initial search results, AI-Assisted Search will also provide you with additional suggestions.
Resume Search highlights the relevant skills and job titles from a candidate’s CV, displaying them in the Skills match or Experience sections on the candidate’s profile card.

New email and calendar integrations in Recruiter and Talent Hub will provide a range of benefits for users.
